    Can you please explain the physical changes that this software will make? (Does it just change the windows PATH environment variable so that the version of Oracle client listed is the one to be used? Or does it also make other Environment Variable changes? Does it also make any registry changes?) Thanks.

      It will set the current ORACLE_HOME as the first entry of the PATH variable.
      It will also change the registry setting the correct Oracle home key in hive HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINEsoftwareoracle to the correct value (pre 10g clients)
