When you first start DbaBar, you will see a menu option which says 'Connect...'.
Pressing this button reveals a menu with the first entry being 'Add Connection...'.
Required entries are the database name (SID of SERVICE_NAME) and a description. This description needs to be unique.
If you choose not to specify a username, DbaBar will use the default username as specified at the 'Default Username' tabpage.
Alternatively you could specify a username and password. The password will be stored encrypted.
When you do not specify a password it will be asked at the first attempt to connect.
By default the connection will be stored in the 'Connections' group. You can overrule this by entering your own group name or choosing an already defined group name.
